Street Drifting is the tagging of motorsports. Just don't even bother. No matter how great you are at it, no one will ever respect you but high school drop out thugs.

Get a front wheel drive car, roll the back wheels onto McDonald's plastic trays, set the e-brake and drive around in circles in a parking lot. The tail end will behave like it's on ice while the front stays stuck to the road. Hours and hours of wacky fun. Well, a couple of minutes anyway.....at least until the McD tray wears through.

Please note, the above is recommended only for those who aren't embarassed enough by sliding a day-glo green twin turbo first gen Toyota Corolla covered in NOS and Apex-i stickers.

I bet you could use a coke tray and just jack the car up onto it. It sure saves your rear tires.

Any RWD car is good for drifting but no one buys a car just for that reason.

[rant on]

They make movies about drifting because people who don't know anything about cars need a way to quantify their discussions on cars.

[/off rant]

There are some pretty good threads on this matter (or ways to reduce drifting to which I imagine you could apply opposite logic to) so I would use the search function. Select the suspension and racing forums in particular to narrow/filter your search.
