VincentZ28 vs ThirdgenLS1

We were on the 57fwy going heads up. We started from a 50mph roll. We were side by side up until around 90mph when he starts to pull away. He has a good running car. Next time ThirdgenLs1 is in Southern Cali, we will line it up again and I'll be pulling on him.

Oh by the way, one of our runs I did get a good jump on him and he didn't catch me.

haha well that one i let off cause of the car next to me vincent lets not get greedy here , i would love to do another run with you with a run where we would jump at the same time.

To go into a little more detail about the run, we ran about 4 total times all of them except the last one i let him get the jump (he would jump about 1/2 to 3/4 length infront of me before i got on it). The first two times i tried doing it in 2nd at 50 but i spun and hit the limiter before getting to 3rd, and by the time we hit 90 i was starting to pass him. The 3rd run is the one he jumped again(we couldnt hear any horn so i told him to do the jump) car in the next lane was trying to merge over, made me nervous so i let off. 4th run (could have been another run there can't remember we ran quit a few times, but it was the last time), i counted to 3 with my hand, then from what i think we got a pretty good jump and i pulled about 2ish lengths on him to about 90ish.

On a side note, not to take anything away from you, found out why my car was running kinda bad, fuel pump is going out. Running about 10-15 psi lower, and drops the more i drive it (but i have no idea if that affected the car that night, tho it did die earlier that day and had to leave it for an hour before i could get it home)

But once i get that fixed i'm up for another run, one with us jumping at the same time so we can get a better match up.

Not trying to give excusses, you got a nice running car there, and i'm sure you make more power then me below 3500, but i would like a another run to get a true reading of how our cars compare.

His car would hold me till i got above 4500ish where i would hit my powerband, and thats when i would start gaining on him.

Justin

Oh and I got some change of plans and will be here for the whole summer, so when you are ready for another run let me know. And be carefull about what you say about next time you will be pulling me, another year of mods for you, is another year of mods for me

You guys need to get over to California Raceway in Fontana so that we can see some times. We need to know what the LSI 3rd gen can do in the 1/4. I know what Vincents can do.

I'll get it to the track here pretty soon, i'm still running on street tires so from a dig vincent will take me.

Reguardless vincent has a nice car, and makes great numbers considering he's still smog legal.
