It should be a drivers race. Both motors should be making around the same power.

I honestly would say I don't know.Should be close.Did the LT-1 come out of a caprice or a camaro.Thats 260-285 hp stock.Plus he has some head porting and full exhaust. He should be running 285-330hp.Hard to give an exact number. You have a tpi 350 with full exhaust and a zz4 cam.Maybe 275-300Hp.This is just a guess. I have no idea how much Horsepower a zz4 cam gives a stock L98.15-30hp is my guess. He has better flowing heads and you have more cam.Your car might be lighter and you have more gear so it should be close.Even if he beats you I don't think it will be an a$$ kicking.

As you can see I have a traction problem. What kind of launch should I do. If I ease it off the line with no spin I think hell leave me behind

I don't see any traction problem your not spinning that badly. In fact your car takes off just like my 95 firebird LT1 auto. Race could go either way.

Trust me when you get to the point when you floor your car without power braking and it spins 20ft or more on street tires then you have a traction problem. Like I said just looking at your vids your car has the same manners as my LT1 firebird and its completely stock right down to the air filter.

You need sticky tires and a better launch.

If he can launch and hook well, your toast.
