Formula 350 vs. 89 Turbo TA, 01 LS1 Z28, 06 Vette, 04 GTO

Ran afew cars after the car show this morning. First car was the 89 TTA(K&N Filter after makrket chip) from 10 mph roll, I put 5 cars on and got out of it .Then the LS1 Z28 from around 45 mph put 5-6 cars on him. Next was a friends 06 Vette( cold air intake and exaust, dyno tune) He beat me by a car. Last was an 04 GTO. We went from around 50mph and I beat him by 4-5 cars. Not a bad day for an old L98...lol

I'll be running my '91 Formula when July comes around, and I'm hoping to have the Z06 sold by then to tell you the truth. The Formula will clean the Z06's clock by that time....

Sounds like you have quite a runner there, what do you run at the track?

went 12.60s with the Gtech, No local tracks. last time i was at Englishtown it went low 13 but that was with just boltons (stock heads and cam). So the 12.60 on Gtech sounds about right after the ZZ4 cam and Brodix heads. Maybe it would turn alittle better times at the track because it doesn't hook at all on the street.

Cool

It's understandable the C6 walked you then. Good kills on everything else.

Eric, that was alot of fun; it was a good day to do it... lousy weather, no traffic except for us. That Formula is making some serious horsepower-pulls real strong in the high end. Either one of my cars needs some help to keep up. Give me a couple of weeks.

what was the mph on the 12.6 gtech run? just asking cause mph gives a better indication of power than a E/T figure

the MPH on the Gtech that day was 115.7. Last time i tested the Gtech on a track for accuracy the ET was right on but the mph was exagerated by 2-3 MPH. I'm thinking it makes around 320 RWHP

It was nice to meet you on Sunday. Your car def has some nice power. Next time we run on 3 honks, side-by-side. I don't think that i will beat you, but it WILL be a closer race. By me taking half a car and giving you the jump, my stock GTO was in trouble from the get-go. Good Run!

Slow roll for me is better. My car is a DD and I don't like to hammer the drivetrain too much. Also you have DR's against my all season tires.

OK , we can def do a slow roll, that works better for me as well. My DR's don't hook as well as i'd like but better then reg street tires. Weather looks good for this weekend but I'll be away skiing. Sure a lot more cars will be there and you'll find someone to run.

No extra speed in my GTO. Runnin stock until i get a job and get some loot for mods. With all the $ you have in your car/motor it isn't a very fair matchup against a stock LS-1. I should hear from a new perspective employer early next week. New job=headers+cat-back.
