I hate to say it, but the Stang. Shoot you might even have trouble with an 06 V6.

 

Him, by a lot and if he lost he should sell his car immediately.

He wins big time. There is no way you could have been close unless you're lying about your car or there is something seriously wrong with his car. Even if his was a 6 cylinder I think I would still give him the advantage.

 

Even tho im a stone cold stang hateer i think hes got ya on this one.

 

Stang by a long shot. even with an auto that car should be at least low 14s. an auto TBI with your basic mods is probably mid 15s

i had him off the line, and i was infront of him till about 80km/h and then he passed me when we got up high.

I have a hard enough time getting my LB9 there with mods, my full bolt on LO3 hardly got into the 15's even though spinning was most to blame.

 

He sucks, because a stock new GT can run 1.9-2.0 60' times in bone stock trim, which would handle aa TBI car off the line without worry. Sounds like you did good in the race and he didn't. I believe the results, don't get me wrong, just sounds like the other driver might have been a little too pedal happy.

 

that sucks... my LG4 had no problem hitting 15.6 with only a catback, open element filter, advanced timing, and the AIR and A/C deleted

your LB9 should be mid 15s stock

 

hmmm well i raced a 98 gt stang thinking 283..i think thats ford correct me if im wrong i know it was a v8 anyway had him off the line of course lost by a car another words a 305 tbi is Sh*t but you all know this.. if its a v6stang and a old womens driving however im sure the 305 has a chace on a good day. i tell ya the next thing i get is a new rear gears makes a whole big difference and then the 3fitty and then beat the stang and then get to brag! this is off the subject but its always funny when a ******* in a 350 chevy truck wants to run my camaro just because its a 305 haha what a rush come home victorious

 

agreed i lost to an 05 v6 car ........ raped on a top end....

that was in my old 92 rs l03 a4 car. I know it had open element and catback exhaust at the time, i may have had 1.6 full roller rockers and msd installed then too but, with that tiny cam and tame efi engine they made no real difference.

theres obviously no way in hell he lost unless he burnt up his clutch blew his motor or forgot and left it in 1st gear...... even then you'd have probably lost lol..........

honestly this is just a dumb thread with a dumb question.

i might as well ask if my car could beat an 07 z51 vette while were at it.....
