Please help me and my freind!!!!!!!!!
Ok i am a all engine man while my freind loves turbos. Well we both want to know if you have two engines making the same power but one is twin turbo and one is just engine who would win in a race?
So it will be same everything like car and everything but one has turbos and ones all engine.

Assuming that both cars weigh the same and have the same gear ratios, and make torque and horsepower in the same rpm range, they will run equally. Turbocharged engines however, often suffer from turbo lag, which can cripple low end torque.

When you say "making the same power" do you mean the same power curve or peak? There are too many other variables left unaccounted for here to determine a correct answer.
For example- 700 hp NA car will need a different converter than a 700hp turbo car.
Further, you could have two 700hp turbo cars both 350cid, one with a slow spooling 1.32 A/R T6 turbine and one with a quick spooling .88 A/r turbine and they would almost certainly run different times due to their significantly different powerbands.

Theres no answer to this. If the cars make the same identicle power at the same identicle RPM, same tq also, and have all the same parts...

the motor car.i'm assuming we're talking about a dragrace?and why would anybody use a twin turbo setup to make big power,everyone that does that uses one big single turbo setup.

That's quite a simple and ignorant statement. Depends what kind of power you're talking about. An APS TT kit for an LS1 F-body can EASILY lay down 700rwhp with the base turbos, and they spool nice and quick 
Like said above, turbo lag doesn't exist if you know what you're doing and know how to make a complete and balanced system. It is VERY hard to have the same lower RPM torque in an N/A setup as you could get with a properly-sized twin turbo setup.
Really, for the drag strip, there's no reason to go N/A over turbo except for cost or class limitations. If you're building a drag race car, there is NO SUCH THING as turbo lag. Oh, your turbos don't full spool until 5000rpm? That's fine, we'll just put a looser converter on it then...

Well thanks guys i just thought that a all motor car would run a little better than a turbo car would.
He is all in the supra and they are very quick cars but it seems like all they are is turbo. I like strait up power and when you want it it is always their.

On some cars its more effective to run 2 smaller turbos to get the power you want, on some cars its better to run 1.
I have seen enough 1000+hp cars on turbomustangs with all sorts of different combinations that I am coming to the realization that maybe in turbocharging, there isnt a definitive victor in single vs twin.

It's really not that complicated of a question. If you have two identical cars with either FI or N/A they should run the same times IF they weigh the same and are correctly geared for that setup... power is power and it doesn't matter where it is made, and it doesn't matter what the peak torque is, all that truly matters is Power (HP) to weight ratio.

if time or money was important i would go n/a.a twin turbo setup done right can be reliable,but,a single is more known for postive boost.the only reason is that one could spool more than the other so that's why most use a single.once you get into turbo's you also have to do alot of fine tuning to get a good running track monster.now,if you had all the dyno and track time needed to compete you could very well make a forced induction car with the same peak hp run faster than the n/a.it's all in what you would prefer and how much money you have.
