guess a 1/4 time

my friend just finished a really cheap build for his 88 firebird (he bought as a roller) this is what he has:

010 block bored .20 over (stock type pistons and stock rotating ***.)
comp 268h cam
993 heads (75cc?)
holley manifold (dunno what kind)
holley 650 double pumper and a carb spacer
a msd street fire dist.
T.c.I. street fighter th350 (my recomendation )
2000 stall
stock 3.42 lsd gears

anyone give an estimate what it will run after he breaks the engine in ???

Re: guess a 1/4 time

Im saying low 13s. Depending on his tire/wheel setup. A stock EFI 350 runs 14.5 with 220 hp. A stock 350 block puts out 290 horse about. With those mods maybe 330. So yeah. Depending on tires and wheels.

Re: guess a 1/4 time

what it is this Pass Time? I'm going to lock in a 15.02 at your nose bleed level. I just think the stall is a little low, not putting it down or any thing. But then again if your running not so good street tires it may help with traction so who knows.

Re: guess a 1/4 time

High 14's as it is, maybe crack into the 13's tuned...

That is going to be a 280 to 300hp motor on a good day.

Re: guess a 1/4 time

13's that's about it. Why such a tight converter? 2000 is a bit tight.
