Lets try this...

I always see stories about people's kills but does anyone have any good cruise stories?

I just have a couple...

The first is, when i was outside of a grocery store waiting for my fiancee to come out...I was way out in the parking lot because of the *** holes that love to fly thru parking lots. I saw my fiancee coming up to the door so i start it up and began driving up to the door when i see this decked out honda just straight rev the crap out of his car and start doing a burnout right thru the cross walk...he was just staring at my fiancee and another girl as he slammed into a big concrete signpost...had to have been the funniest thing i had ever seen...The best part was he drove off with it puking fluid all over and shortly down the road i saw him pulled over and i waved and beeped.

Second one is short but there was this girl driving a grand prix my buddy didnt think anything of it (we were in his 5.0) we pulled up next to her and she was real good looking so my buddy winked and revved at her. she just laughed and looked ahead. We ended up following one another for a little ways until we got outside of town. My buddy decided to blow past her, well once he pulled out that girl must have just floored it. Come to find out it wasn't a grand prix but a G8!! that thing just screamed off and we never saw her again. i was so damn surprised that thing just straight got it done...not to mention all the badging was removed except the Pontiac symbols.

You know the sad thing is that honda was still probably worth the same amount wrecked than it was before which is just scrap. I wish i could have seen it.

Normally I don't say anything but you stink. Maybe you should try the LS1 site, maybe they're more tolerant of it.

Re: Lets try this...

i got two good ones,

The first one was when i was going to New England Dragway with my car club. Me and my buddy were meeting the guys coming up from Connecticut on the highway. The second we got on they come flying past us in the fast lane. We then got in a convoy and cruised up there. On the way my buddy mike horn dragged a 6.0 GTO in the middle of the highway, the whole trip was a big success.

Second story was when i was on the highway heading back to my house from Maine. Im just cruising along and this absolutely mint 74 camaro pulls up next to me. The guy is blasting AC/DC back in black but you can barley hear it over the exhaust that sounded like headders to a Y that had the pipe dumping in the middle of the car. Dude just pulled up next to me we cruised side by side for about a mile looking for a place to go for it. Traffic started to build since it was around 5 so he just gave me the thumbs up and punched it weaving in and out of cars then took the next exit.

Re: Lets try this...

I was cruising down our local strip called esplanade, and I see this honda trying to race me and revving his engine and such... I was going to nail it for a sec to show him he probably didnt want to mess with me when I see a cop behind... Next light I told him to cook em... Of course he does and gets a nice red and blue light show behind him... They never learn...

haha that is too funny. I have seen tons pulled over on one of the main roads out by me and they dont ever get the point not to speed on that road. On average I see at least 1 cop on the main road every time i drive it. There is a lot of good back roads to do the dirty out by me but the tuners are too busy racing thru town.

Re: Lets try this...

a couple of friends and i went cruisin and stopped at a grocery store. i was riding with my friend in his 76 firebird and my other buddy was driving his 76 grand prix. we come out of the store and hop in the cars.we pull out first, since we parked in front of the building we had to reverse and then pull out.when we back we chirped tires a little and pulled away. my buddy in his grand prix thought he was showing off so he layed into it in reverse. he backed it straight into a lightpost and completely v'd the trunk.definitely the dumbest thing i ever saw.

Re: Lets try this...

A group I was hanging out with on a Friday night was moving to a new location as the cops decided we needed to leave the place we were at. Just following in a long line of cars and I see up ahead on moron in the turn lane just cruising along. I am not even sure he realized it was the turn lane as that section of the road had just been redone and reconfigured. What he failed to realize is that when the turn lane met the rail road tracks... well, it ended abruptly into a curb height center divider. I don't think he even hit the brakes before he hit it, the car just launched up onto of it and then stayed there. Not sure what happened after that as I wanted nothing to do with it, but it was hilarious to watch.
