Engine: LT1, AFR 195cc, 231/239 LE cam.
Transmission: M28 T56
Axle/Gears: 3.23 10bolt waiting to explode.

The L69 with the 3.73's should be faster than the 305TPI of that year.
As for that you can beat with it? The list if cars you can beat is probably smaller than the list of cars that can beat you. Scary how quick some of the daily drivers are getting.
I nearly lost to a Maxima a while ago. It was modded, not sure by how much though. However I barely edged him out. And i'm running mid 13's every time at 102mph. In another year or two stock LS1s will have problems with some of these cars.

If its running right, driven right, I'd say thats a mid 14 car.

I was working on a 84 L69 car a couple of years ago and that thing was a gutless pig. I was definately hoping for alot more. Then again before I got ahold of it it was even worse. It was owned by a 60 year woman if that tells you anything.
