90-93 Integra
What do you guys think of these? I may have to get one for my commute to school and get rid of the camaro. The ones I've been looking at are just stock LS, non vtec and i wouldn't rice it out. I would put nice exhaust and lower it but that's about it. Let me know what you think.

Re: 90-93 Integra
The thing is I'd have to get rid of my camaro for it so I'd want it to be somewhat fast

Re: 90-93 Integra
They aren't too fast. I raced one in my Intrepid (full-size sedan) and beat it while I was driving to school. So they aren't that fast.

Lots of aftermarket support great gas mileage not a bad looking car very reliable. Probably faster than a 2.8L camaro if it is a 5 speed integra.

Re: 90-93 Integra
Yea they are not too fast 130hp in 90 and 91 then 140 in 92 and 93. Still more HP than some third gens but nothing special. The 2500-2600 lbs curb weight does help some. Most people just do vtec head swaps then a small turbo. Others just get one of the many turbo kits around and make them quick with the factory head. Either way I like integras they make a great budget daily driver.

Re: 90-93 Integra
good for what you wanan use it for. I wanna get something like this. Im shooting for a 96-99 integra or civic. might put a cold air intake on it, maybe header. but thats it. no loud exhaust or anything. try to get 35 mpg or more on it. I drive a few hours away often so the camaro eating up the gas. plus the miles being put on it.

Re: 90-93 Integra
if you swap the engine to say b16/ b18 you will still have a 15 sec car maybe high 14s with Bolt ons. they where never really ment to be a high performance car. the best thing you can do to that kind of car is swap the engine to a b18 and rework the suspension for more road racing type driving. While they are not screamers in a straight line a good set of coil overs on the double wishbone suspension, high performance brakes, a high revving engine like the b18 with a nice 5 speed gear box and you will have a real fun car on the twisty roads and a car that can get you out of trouble like road hazards on your commute
