A drifting Camaro? YES!! :) ...

Heres some pictures of me drifting up at tantalus. Which is Oahus best drifting spot. The pictures looked good on the digital Camera. But when I loaded them they looked all ugly. Its grainny. I had to make it brighter. Cause there wasnt enough lighting.

Here you go!

I'm not so good yet. Still need more practice. Hopefully I'll get better pictures. Possibly in hte day so that you can see it better! What does everyone think? I broke the back end out before the turn and slid through the turn. Damn fun...

You definatly need to get some of that on video, the pictures do no justice. I remember you talking about using the e-brake to do the slides, you still doing that or have you figured out how to swing it and brake it with the throttle? I'm thinking about going to driving school, my friend did it and got to drive a viper at the end. I want to learn how to drift, 360's, reverse swing around/knight rider famous move!, and the Ace Ventura parking! That parking job is what I'd like to learn how to do but with cones. Man I loved that movie. I'm going to snow text my side view mirrors to say the following: Drivers side- *** holes in mirror are closer than they appear. Passenger side- Objects in mirror are about to disappear.

I still use my ebrake to initiate the drift. Soon after I get the rear sway bar from Crazy Hawaiian. Then I can probably drift without using the ebrake. Yea I do need video. My friends Digital Camera can even get video footage. So Next time I go I'll have some video footage. Then I'll post it onto the net for everyone to download.

I learned how to drift in my CJ7 driving it off-road. I still can't get my POS auto Camaro to do it. Need a T5.

Well most people think drifting is just pounding around the turn. And at the exit the back end flies out. Thats a powerslide. Drifting is more like sliding before the turn. LIke your already sideways before the turn and then you go sideways around the turn. I dont know I cant really explain it. ALl I can say is that its hella fun and pretty damn cool!
