ok this kid just got this new probe GT with a v6/auto, what are its rateings hp/quarter mile/tq ect..... compared to my 85 trans am LB9 with a high flow converter, dynomax cat back, accel 8.8mm wires cap/rotor, and also fresh delco plugs. I know id smoke this kid but i just want to know how bad i can expect to smkoe him........

Hey Onefine, already finding new people to talk .... to, lol. At least your racing them in the trans, instead of the TBI mobile... Anyway, my mom has a probe GT the 93' year which is the fastest year, and my iroc is SO MUCH FASTER, they are not even comparable. Youd beat him pretty bad... but i will give the probe some credit after 50 mph, cause when you floor it, you can hear the engine just start sucking in gobs of air and it really takes off..... But you should beat him pretty bad. I read on a probe message board that the automatics run low 17's.

 

well first of all id smoke his *** horably in my TBI, for some reason that car has a great 0 to 100 acceleration but thats besides the point, i was aware that my TPI COULD take him but i just want to embarass him and i want to be sure of it, thanx for the info.....

 

Low 17's for automatic Probes? What year are you talking about. I am not familiar with Probes at all but these days 4 banger sedans run mid 16's and a "sporty" car like a Probe runs slower?

Stock Probe GT the 93-94 models run a 15.5 with a 5-speed in the quarter.

 

lol o man i wasted that probe, i was in 2nd gear (700r4) and he was to and i let him go and i hit it and just walked away from him like nothing, than on my way home another white probe GT wanted to try the same thing and he also got smoked....n e way thought id share the results, now time for my car to get a day off....

 

On the message board i went to, all of the automatic probes (most of them even had stupid Sh*t like AOM COLD INTAKES, and stuff) and they were running low 17's high 16's.... Now the manuals were a different story!

 

I bet after that it wasn't even breathing heavy....

Onfine, buddy i just want to let you know that Probe Gt's are actually Mazda Mx3's so if that **** Probe has a big a$$ whale tail and some ch!nk letters, your Tbi might be sweating some 10w 40 your other car should be capable of dusting it but i guess it all depends on the driver
