I assume you're talking about the Camaro in the sig... I believe the speed limiter in the computer kicks on at 122, or somewhere in that range...

Oh, and one more thing... that car is f'ing sweet...

I actually am feeling quite stupid for posting that... I read the '87 mustang vs camaro shootout article and remember the 149 specifically but, all cars have different stated top speeds all over the place... and depending on weather, it can easily vary that much... oh well

Whew. I thought you meant "top speed of 92" as top speed is 92 mph. I was thinking you should have another gear. Well...anyone know the top speed of an 85 ltd Crown vic 302? I believe that I've had it over 100 but it's hard to tell with an 85mph speedo. Which, by the way, hitting that speed was me saving my *** from crazy drivers who speed up while you are passing- not racing. I'm sure I had to be going extremely fast with a car load of people when this f350 guns it. They are governed to 92 mph and I was slowly passing until my spedometer dropped off and shortly afterwards I got by him fast. I would guess at the rate I passed I was doing 110. Scary with 3 other people in the car. That guy would have caught hell if he would have pulled over with me.

Just so everyone knows, while there technically was a speed limiter, it was not set at 122. It was set at some outrages speed like 240.
So for all intensive purposes there is no speed limiter on the 92 Z28. I know, I have had my 92 350 (it is viturally all stock even the chip) up to 140 while racing a Grand National a few years back.
