Opinions Please...
Heres something this one guy said. (note. I aint trying to talk ****. Just trying to see if anyone else agrees with me)
"These 'Track Days' are for people that wish to drive their cars to the limit.... Not past its limits"
Hes talking about me drifting at taht one grip style event. But the thing is. Whos pushing their car closer to the limit? In my opinion I am. See for grip style once they go over the "limit" they enter my area. To my opinion I'm pushing it more to the limit because I'm pushing the car right to the point of no return. Of spinning out and losing it. But for grip. Once you start sliding your already over the "limit" So does anyone else agree? Who is pushing their cars more to the "limit"? A drifter or a grip style guy.

REVLIMIT... what did you do to your front ground effects. It looks bad a$$. Do you have any up close pics of it. Thats one of the best mods I've seen. Great job.
As for the pushing your cars limits.
Our cars were made for this sort of stuff. The only way your going to learn your cars limits is by pushing them to the point of no return. When you reach the point of drifting, you make a choice...
Are you a gripper or a drifter.
Grippers will slow down going into the turn and keep tires planted, while drifters KNOW how they're cars handle and are in control of there drifting. Personally, I'm a drifter. Nothing better than the feel of the car's rear end coming around at speed and then snapping it around and accelerating even more.

thats what I'm talking about man. Drifting is the ****. Nothing beats it. ANyways that lip is just a custom job I did. I'm probably going to get rid of it sometime later. Cause it keeps cracking (before it was cracked in 4 peices!! O_O) Probably gonna put on a custom front bumper instead.
And heres a new sig/picture.

drifting is fun and all, don't get me wrong, but if your going to fast laps...hitting the corner with just the right amount of speed, and nailing your apex, is the way to go. Putting the car at the very edge of it's limits, yet not over. Makes for faster corner exit speeds at least.
i think that guy is a girl and you should keep drifting!!!!

Yeah, drifting is fun but not after i pass you going thru the corners. Nail apexes and track out points as noted above if you want to go fast.
I think it is very good experience to slide the car and find out how the car responds, it's just not the fast way unless you race in the world of Outlaws!

Yep, oversteer is fun, understeer is spooky and a true 4 wheel drift is pretty cool. a real four wheel drift is just on that fine line between over steer and understeer. A little throttle, a little opposite lock, and presto! you're Juan Fangio. I managed to get it right once, but that was on a 600 foot skid pad after a couple of times around.
4 wheel drift went out of favor in racing right about the time that 70 series tires did. An Audi R8 will only drift if you drive it in the grass.

PS: If RallyCross ever makes it to Hawaii, you and your driving style will be much appreciated and admired. The pavement (Solo2) guys aren't reall big on thirdGens any way, and the MG drivers get can't resist 'Smokey and the Bandit' jokes when a Firebird (mine) spends a lot of time going sideways.

If you really wanted to take your car to the limit you wouldn't be drifting. Most good racers know how to go fast without going over the limits of traction. Drifting is more of a show off thing than a speed thing. Granted it does take a certain amount of skill to not wreck when drifting, but I believe it takes more skill to take turns at the absolute ragged edge of traction, which in turn gets you the fastest lap times.
