92' Z vs late 80's 302.
Was in town the other day and came up to this red light at the bypass. I saw in my side mirrors a primered hood and aftermarket lights. Was a dropped Civic and I figured I'd look for play time. Any ways, light turned green and traffic started rolling. I moved up so the Civic could come around but instead I see this flash of white from a cowl hood. I look over and see a late 80's Stang come on up. Had a 90's pattern 302 sticker in place of a 5.0 emblem. It was a couple of young country guys. They pulled hard then slowed down, throwing me the horns and yelling my car sounded good. (Straight header )
We slowed down to a 50 then hammered it. We were neck and neck until he started to pull away at 110. Was a fast little coupe. Got to the next red light and just revved it up for the green. When it turned we both launched, I went sideways for about 80 ft and he did for about 20. I started gaining fast when we got to the curve and there was a Sheriff's deputy parked and trapping. Didn't get us but flashed his lights for us to slow down...gave a honk too. He busted the Civic though, it was a good 5 seconds behind us. I've been looking for something to give me a sense of nostalgia and that sure as hell did it. Good guys and a good race.

for example your was meant as You're, and a period is necessary after the end of your (used in the proper sense) sentence, notice the lack of my punctuation, as well as grammar, however I am sure my troll has sincerely irritated you. however I have read his short story and love the over all concept purely factual or not =) (no period) lol

I know your pain. I've been in a few of those. You could say it's a small town, we have 3 colleges, 2 are State, so we have a lot of college students but over all it's an average size. lol The officers are so spread out it's rare to see one sitting out trapping instead of just patrolling.

Unless you're a pimply 19 year old who enjoys wearing monster hats and wife beaters I highly doubt it.
