well i dont know what he runs he just finished it this year so????
but its mostly just a show truck he said he will take it to the strip just to see what it will do. but its mainly just his toy truck. he races a rail car down here at the track it was just somthing he did to pass the time by this winter. he told me he would take me for a ride in it here shortly
might just have to blow my camaro.
and its a 355 for the motor, th-400, and a 12 bolt with 5.86 posi, so i think traction wont be a prob there

Hey, where'd you find that picture of my truck? Oh wait, my truck is an S-10 Blazer with the 2.8. Nevermind........
Great looking truck. But looks can be misleading. Many of the geat looking show cars and trucks are all show. This does not mean they are not great cars and trucks. It is very hard to build a truck like that and costs lots of money so I would say most guys with that kind of truck would not run it hard or care what its ET is. Just my thoughts.
I have seen so many cars in garages which never go on the street. They show up eary at shows in trailers or they leave the trailer up the road and drive 2 blocks to the show. Yes these guys have lots of money or they bust there butts to build there cars. They love cars and I believe after spending so much time and money just can't bring themselves to drive them around. I can not say I blame them. I have an 89 GTA up on stands in the garage where it has been for almost ayear now. I have the interrior done and the rear end done. I have alot of money in a car which was in good shape when I started. I will have more money in it then its worth. I do it because I love Firebirds and it is a great way to relax . I will not have a top show car but will have a great street car. I will drive it on nice days and will take it to the strip. It's not about money sometimes?
I agree that money doesn't matter if you love your car. But he did that over the winter, so that's more money than I'd care to know!! I don't want to know what I will have in mine after I rebuild it this summer. It will be worth it no matter the cost though.

The way I've come to look at these types of things is like this. If I buy/build something really really nice and very very fast, then I'm going to use it. What's the point of me working my a$$ of to restore something to great condition with a thumpin' motor just to trailer it around the country where it sits to be zainod for hours. Then when I die, it goes to someone else who doesn't give a rats about it and sells it for the money. Nope, I drive them and when something breaks or gets worn I replace it. You only live once, so enjoy and mak the most of it while you can.

well hey guys i dont know about your towns hot rodders but everyone down here drives theirs. unless they are not street legal
and this guy does drive the truck but when it snows i dont think any of you guys would try and drive it or when it rains. the little coupe gang down here all have stickers on the windows saying "if you see this car on a trailor, call 911 its been stolen" thats how are hot rodders down here are. but serious guys say you owned a one of a kind of some short and your out driving around and someone runs into you. thats why some cars just sit it would hurt me more that somone ran into my pride and wercked it. then it would to let it sit
