99 SS+100 shot VS 86 Stang+150 shot VS 87 TA+150 shot
Well here are the cars mods....
99 SS, true ss with loudmouth exhaust, 100 dry kit from holley, lid and K&N, Offroad y pipe. DYNOED AT 394 RWHP 450RQTQ. He dynoed at almost 340 on the motor. Ran a 12.3 on street tires which I think he should run 11's on slicks.
86 Fox body Stang, Trick flow heads, trick flow cam, Cobra intake, Mac headers and full exhaust. Bigger throttlebody, MAF, injectors, 3.73 gear, street tires, and a 150 wet kit. No time available.
Me, mods in sig, except I upped the shot to 150.
Well we lined them up on the freeway and did it from a 20 MPH kick. On three we all took off and I dropped mine into first, spraying, and spun like HELL and hit the rev limiter, I spun all the way until the middle of second and then finally hooked up, in the lead was me and the mustang, the mustang had 2 cars on me because of spinnage. The SS was nowhere to be seen. WEll throughout third gear I pulled on him and made up one of the cars. When he went into fifth gear I went by him but everyone said he won because he led up until 125 MPH, and he said his fell on its face when he went into fifth. We got the race on film and I will post a link later tonight
The SS ran out of bottle is why we destroyed it. Well the SS and the stang ran later that night and the stang won by 3 cars. I was on the side of the road overheating during that race (Stock radiator and lots of spray= overheating)
Although I guess I supposedly lost I thought it was still a good race. My car has never ran as fast as it did that night, never.

Maybe its just me but I am tired of hearing of guys putting NOS on muscle cars. It always has seemed like the type of thing that ricers use to try and get fast. Maybe I am an old fashion guy but I believe in there is no replacement for displacement. Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't NOS cut down on the life of 5+ liter engines severly. I'm not sure about that its just what I heard.

Most of the people that don't like nitrous don't know anything about it. Go to Nitrous Oxide Systems home page and they have a FAQ there regarding nitrous usage. Nothing wrong with it, if used properly.

My dad runs Nitrous on his Mustang, and he has never had a problem. If it's set up right and you don't abuse it then it won't hurt the motor anymore than a blower or a turbo. I don't think it's a ***** thing, I think it's just another way to make your car fast.

I've got a 175 shot on my big block caddilac powered Grand Prix. Used it maybe 60 times or more, never had a problem, did a compression test on it just yesterday, all cylinders were perfect.

I'm tired of people complaining about n2o,it adds power just like any other mod(just alot more than the usual bolt on). Domestics have used it before Imports have. Oh yeah and its not cheating cause I know someone will say it.

The card by buddy has isnt cooperating with windows XP for some reason (its an old card) to get it online, I am still trying though. I wish there were an easier way to get video to digital online. Anyone know if u can goto kinko's and do it???
The only time I disagree with nitrous is when people abuse the hell out of it (like use it for no reason or to get on the freeway). I have a friend in an 86 vette, his bottles last him a couple days. Me on the other hand, my bottles last around 2-4 weeks because I rarely use it.
We are taking the camera along to all of our races now so if I can figure out a cheap and easy way to get it all online I will. What can I do about server space to upload the stuff??? I dont have any and my friends is used up with his web page. Anyone know where there is free server space?
