New Pics
oops It didn't work. I guess the images still need a home on the web. I thought for some reason we could upload from our drives. My mistake.

My friend Jason just got an MP3 deck for his Bird, a $600 Rockford Fosgate deal (at FUTURE SHOP!
Who knew?). I couldn't tell from the pic, but they looked kinda similar...

I got a Kenwood deck from Future shop for $330 bux. I think Kenwood discontinued this model or Future shop doesn't carry it any more. Its great! 158 songs on 1 cd. My system doesn't sound great, nor will it win any decible compititions but it is a vast improvement over the factory system. It makes driving with the top up sooooooo much better, when the top starts squeeking I just turn up the volume. Much better to listen to good tunes than nasty squeeks and rattles.
I just made my system sound decent, I don't have any subs i nit either. I have the Pioneer DEH-P9300 CD Drck with Infinity Reference speakers all around... sounds clean, and its pretty loud

Yeah, it is a bit pricey...but i's one of those graphic-intensive, check-email (or whatever) and aircraft-spacestation type of things....it's got a nice screen, great sound, and all kinds of vibrant colours....yeah, way over the top for me, but it looks great. j/k about the email/space station stuff.

whats that?
Zedder how do you find the song you want to listen too. Can you group them into catigories? or A-Z, song name, artest. can you have a play list like a computer. 158 songs on 1 cd could make it hard to find the only you want.

You group the songs into folders, it does take a little time to load or "Read" each track but the quantity of music is great. The deck has the capability to display up to 18 characters. It does take time to find your favorite tunes, I listen to many different types of music so I have put them into folders accordingly.
Palric the top is black. I am hoping to make the Grand Bend get together, so if anyone is curious about Mp3 players they can check mine out.

I hope you can make GB weekend. It will be fun.
I have some mp3 tunes on my desktop and laptop. About 680 titles and 3-point-something-gig that I would be very interested in taking with me on road trips.

Thanks, as of right now I do not have any plans for decals. I originally wanted a fully stickered IROC when I started looking but you take what you can get in your price range. The paint is "Nice from far but far from nice". The car has alot of chips and paint imperfections and a little rust spot on the rear wheel well. My intention is to strip it down and have it re painted some day. To tell you the truth I have come to like the "California Iroc" look(no Decals) and there's more than enough badging on the car to let everyone know its pedigree. I may just replace the door decals but I think I will not put the lower body stripes back on after the re paint. The car has close to 200 000km on it so it is far from perfect. I think most of it is worn out but the body and interior is in good shape. I'm slowly bringing it back to good condition. Since it is a high miliage car I'm not to concerned with keeping it all original. I fully intend to "hop it up" and replace most of the factory suspension and brakes with better quality aftermarket pieces.
