Welcome to the board you will find alot of f-body guys here probably more than you expected. Alot of great info to be had and occasionally an event to attend. Last I heard we have a race day coming up August 10th these are great events to meet up with everyone.

I think there are about 1/2 dozen guys right here in the KW area.

Oh yeah -- easySPEEDcamaro is hitting you up cause he got robbed on a deal lately on a '90 IROC and is looking for a consolation ride (hey dude did you check the '90 IROC G92 car in the autotrader for $8500 ? triple black with stick ?).

So what mods are you into ? What plans do you have for your car ?

adious,
RP.

Hey, welcome to the board. I agree with Trigger, we need another meet here in Kitchener. We have enough guys here, maybe we should start the K-W F-Body Association
When you can, post some pics.
Hey easySPEED, there is an '89 GTA 350TPI loaded for sale, white w/grey interior cert. and e-tested for $7800.00 here in Kitchener. I saw it today on Victoria ST. That is if a GTA would be good enough for ya

Hey easySpeed, hate is a strong word. You just posted that you were looking for a 3rdGen. The car was sharp enough that I actually turned around on a busy road to take a better look at it. To each their own, I guess.
Palric, Friday nights are no good to me unless it's after 11 p.m. Sucks working on the afternoon shift. July 5th or July 12th are the Fridays that I have off. Timmies on Ottawa and Weber is a popular place for people to meet up with their cars and bikes. Saturday nights are usually O.K.

ThierryC: with a name spelling such as yours, there can't be too many of you out there...

There is a Thierry C... (I will leave his complete name off here for now) involved in tfbm.org- are you he? I had assumed that almost all the tfbm people were in the GTA...

Uh.... you did mean '91-'92 Firebirds right (guffaw, guffaw) ?

Hey 92zeddar I read on the 1LE site last night (another all nighter at work) that ALL as in every single one of them '91 and '92 Camaros and Firebirds got the Players Challenge style gas tanks and fuel pickups. You know, the ones designed to keep sucking gas on a low tank in a high G accel, stop or turn ??? They are designed with internal baffles, etc. This would explain why I don't hear sloshling noises in my tank which I used to hear all the time with my '88 and my '85.

With my '88 at the track I always kept the gas level up (I was advised 1/2 tank or more to avoid dry spinning the pump) so it wouldn't starve at launch = weight penalty. With these tanks we could (theoretically) run at the track with 1/8th tank (better be a filling station nearby at the end of the day eh ?) ergo weight savings. I read once that dropping 100lbs of weight was equivalent to gaining 10hp which was equivalent to 1/10th in the quarter. Comments ?

I agree that the price was pretty hefty, think that if it doesn't sell this summer, you will see that price drop ,that is if they really want to sell. The only real reason I turned around to look at it was that it looked almost exactly like the 90 GTA that I almost bought.( the one that got away )

Ya I know about the gas tanks.. I never really thought of it being something special though... but then again if I have it and alot of other people don't have it... It MUST make my car better than everyone else's car RIGHT GUYS!!

hahahahahaha:rockon: :lala:

Hello there
Thanks for the welcome ! I am not connected to tfbm.org, so I guess there is an other one out there :-)
The car is all stock with the factory paint, so far no mods are planned except maybe installing a ZF6 transmission if I have the $$$. So far the car as all matching numbers but the steering column which comes from a GTA as some punks tryed to steal it last month.
A meet in KW would be a pretty good idea.
