I'm still a lightweight when it comes to working on my car. for me it was hard enough installing the K&N
oh and a different shift **** too.
if it ever came to a gasket swap I wouldn't have a clue on how to do the job right.
so I hope there's some minds in here that can give educated suggestions
so that I don't kill my poor car.

Welcome to the board. You will find that there is alot of opinions/advice here, it will be up to you to decide which advice you wish to take. There are a wide variety of people here that know how to get things done, and almost all are willing to help each other out.
You might want to post some pics of your car, as we all love pics here
P.S. Mark Shields know and sees all:hail:

Welcome man theres a few of us in the OT area. Sometime this fall If you want to take a trip to Luskville (local strip) with me and my bro we could use another fbod. Want to see what my car can do before the winter and after. Theres a place in OT too that does 3 dyno runs + tuning for 60 bucks that I wouldnt mind going to if I ever get around to it.

Hey there fellow OT resident. On the 21st, same day as the big St. T. meet, there's a cruise night at LUSTville. It's usually $10 a car load, run or not. (I have heard it has gone to $15???) Anything can run as many times as you wish. It usually starts after 5-6pm and goes till 11pm. Anyone who isn't going to St. T might wanna try to meet there. Just a suggestion.

Welcome. I'm pretty new here too. These guys are awsome! I am thrilled to have found this forum. I moved to Kitchener from Ottawa about 4 years ago. I know what ya mean about always working. I have the same affliction. Best of luck!

if you guys ever end up going down to Luskville while the weathers still nice I'm going with
so send an e-mail to simonriddick@hotmail.com and tell me where to meet and where to go etc
I've never been to a track before so it would be a good learning experience.
and Acceld Z.
I found that redliners.ca isn't filled with technical knowledge and learning that can contribute..... to errr anything whatsoever. I still post there but only to joke around with my friends. and that's what everyone else there seems to do.
there's negativity there towards all cars. someone yells ******t and the other guy yells rice and all goes crazy. it gets boring after a short time.
so I decided to find a board with REAL people on it. and this might be it.
peace!

Hey Jeff, Paul, & Dave, my pics of the huge "Eastern Region" of the Third Gen community will be ready Monday. I think I was able to get footage of all the cars there, I mean I did have 24 snaps in my camera, so I may have had to snap a couple of the cars in pairs to get shots of all of us. LOL
Maybe another can be held before the summer is completly over. I have heard it's going to be a mild winter, so it may still be a long way off.
