Peel cops are cracking down!

Peel cops are cracking down on noise, i came home last night after work (1:30am) using my usual route and i guess some peel pigs were bored and decided to rite me up a ticket for noise saying that its over the average decibals, "first off pop out the chart and decibal reader and show me proof, if not GET OUT OF MY FACE!", guess i should have kept my cool but c'mon anyways $115 ticket and 2 weeks to change the mufflers or add baffles ( I THINK NOT).....court time again, i have a reciept saying "MUFFLERS" where installed. and if any peel cops reading this, go chase the real problems out there not the average guy with a mortgage/kids and his toy.

just a shout out to those running little louder then a normal **** box, beware!

Peel region, especially Mississauga has been nailing "street racing" they've gone thru every excuse in the book to try to deter it. So far in fact that their even excersizing the noise bylaws of the particular city. Yes they can nail you for noise violation depending on the city.

F-bodies aren't immune, the last drag race that claimed a life in Mississauga involved sadly a firebird with passengers and a BMW...

Easyspeed - is that your grad pic from highshool. Now I know why you're car is giving you so much grief - it doesn't like being driven around by a guy that looks like that.

Nope, I believe that would be his mechanic. Walks into the garage and pops the hood and hes like,
Wut dee hell is this dagnabit. Wheres dee sangle barrel carb-o-rator? And dee heat riser? Whure it go? I need my met-o-mucil.
That would explain his problems mechanical wise anyway...

About noise violation, take it to court. Just stuff some rags in the exhaust and get it DB tested or just goto a stereo shop thatll right you a phony one (most wont give a damn). Just give em 50 bucks and carry it with you in the car so next time you get pulled over, whip it out and tel him, I dunt think so bacon meister! (sorry tracey...). Most places just care about noise past 10pm. Its almost impossible to hold the ticket in court on their part if you bring sufficient proof your exhaust has been DBed at under the limit.

My car sounded like a UPS truck with the stock exhaust. I never even got a ticket with flowmaster and it was loud. The police in your region must have to follow pretty strict guidelines. Or they got bored.

Cops include projected ticket revenues in the years budget. So they basically spend the money before they get it. So if they dont get the speeding/dangerous driving tickets they need to meet their planned amount, they start giving out bs stuff like dirt license plates, more speed traps, headlights, tires, noise blah blah etc.. Remember a year or two ago when Kingston was like over 10 grand short? I remember hearing from friends and family friends that drove around Kingston how many cops and speed traps were going, it was like the damn ghetto...

I think he planned on pulling me over but ran out of time maybe? Who knows, Im just glad he didnt catch my expired plates. greg- 2, bacon- 0. I wonder If I could go till winter hmmmm.
