i am so pissed off it's not funny

so my SECOND set of valve covers arrive today... UPS...

so I go to UPS and come to pick-ups... give them my tracking #...

2 ****ING HOURS later they find my package. It was un****ing acceptable. I am so pissed off about the wait it's not funny.

****ing supervisor comes by and says to everyone "we're looking for your packages, relax... can i offer you some coffee?"

what do i say? "instead of offering us ****ing coffee that nobody wants why don't you go and ****ing find our packages you dumb ****"...

they finally bring my package, as i said, 2 hours later... i look at the import charges that i have to pay, it says $61.

what the ****!

i only paid $27 for my valve covers shipped through USPS that i got earlier this week, where the **** do they get this $61 from.

apparently it is gst, pst, about 8 dollars each...

then brokerage fees of $36, and then GST and PST on the brokerage fees.

i called their head office from there, they said i had to pay it, no way around it, blah blah blah blah blah

so i paid it, and now i want to know, what the ufck is this and is there anyway around this ****.

You'd be amazed how far you can get by constant harassment of customer service people. Eventually they'll give you stuff just to shut you the hell up. Which of course should only be an option if youve actually been screwed, like your case.

I think it's a sign easy... get help for your ebay addiction and stop buying useless things

jk, I've been nailed a couple times like that also... however if I ever had to pay tax crap and brokerage fees amounting to more than what the package was worth I'd tell them to send it back and then have the dude resend it properly labelled.

This is a long shot... but is there any chance you bought the two sets of covers from people in different states?

Sucks, dude.
Did you get insurance on the package? That def qualifies as broken in transit.

I just e-mailed the guy and he said it was insured, so THANK ***.

then i called UPS and they said "you hold onto the package, don't take it back, don't do anything, we don't want to see it"

they said call the shipper and tell him to file a complaint.

Sorry to hear about your troubles easy...but to all you guys.....UPS is about one of of the worst mismanaged companies out there....and I know first hand....I use to work for them, not in a package car or anything, I worked in Marketing, but to all you guys...when you get things shipped, DO NOT let anyone ship it UPS......they couldnt deliver anything if their lives depended on it!!!!

3 of the 4 ends are broken? Jeesus, did Tom Hanks have that on the island with him? What did the box look like? And as for having to pay more for the second set that the first...........It's all in how the seller fills out the customs info sheet.
