Heck if they are giving you a warranty at that price..and they are a established shop..go for it! I paid $240 for my old 90 Cavalier RS 7 years ago..they want more now.. This was through Standard Auto Glass mind you..but they did a great Job.

my main concern is about the 2-piece rear hatch

My brother got his 84 Z28 tinted and they did the rear hatch in two pieces, couldn't tell it was two pieces, they did a great job matching the seam. Though it was done here at a shop in Winnipeg. But, yeah it was a two piece job.

I dont know if they make tint that's as big as our rear hatch window anyway.... plus if they did I bet you it would cost you more than $150.

$150 is a awesome price if it's with warranty. To compare a good price is like $200 with lifetime warranty.

Yup ...the 180-200 for a life time warenty is a fair price ......and I wouldn't take it ay other way ........ Some times the tint ....just doesn't want to sit right .....so they fix it free

...od it right the first time ....and you won't have any problems like me ( previous owner cheaped out ) ...now I got to pay 100 bucks just to have it removed from the back window .

BTW ...the 2 piece tint is not a bad thing ......the put the seem right on your defrost lines ....you don't even see it

ya...150 is a good price....I think I paid 200 for mine. Even though they will tell you that they clean the windows before it is done etc....clean your windows very well before hand!

I got mine done at TK last year & I got the darkest possible out back & 2nd from darkest on sides. Although this is illegal, I don't find it too much trouble as I usually roll w/the windows down anyway. As for clarity at night, the only trouble I have is in rain or fog but since I don't drive it under those conditions I have not experienced any problems w/night vision.

By the way, mine is 2 pc tint as well & from the outside it is not noticable, unless u look very hard for it.

I have 21% all the way around... 5% is the darkest... you should get some Green tint for your car.. that would look cool..

alex,

i paid $180 for titanium one piece on the back of my iroc, lifetime guarentee too.. mind you it was a cash sale...and i got 23% on the sides...the only thing i dont like about mine is that the guy wouldnt do anything "illegal" so i couldnt go as dark as i want..

ive never heard anything about the 2 piece tint job, but i know my one piece is amazingly done..youll be happy

There's nothing wrong with 2 pieces and, like everyone else said, if he's offering a warranty for that price, then go for it!
