Outdoor storage hints?

It looks like i won't be able to get the bird inside for the winter so i got a Wolf evolution 3 cover off ebay and now i just gotta con a friend out of a spot in their driveway (mine's full of winter beaters)
Its at the dealer ship now for the seatbelt recall and that is where the tranny is being rebuilt and modded (brother works there as tech) Any hints to help my baby sleep safely outside would be appreciated. It was oilgarded in the fall and not washed since.

The first an most important in my eyes... Full tank of gas, and some fuel stabalizer. Then remove the battery and store in a warm place. Place the car on jack stands... By the suspension!! Don't let it hang, or your car will be 4x4 come spring for awhile. Also try to get some of those...***dang I can't remember what they are called. Tip of my tongue....*** The little salt bags or whatever they are called. They absorb moisture so that your interior doesn't. Ah crap I can't remember.

At this point of the year I'd say your in a little bit of a tight spot. If you can't get it indoors (garage or barn or somethin) I suggest simply parking it and covering it up (yes remove the battery and keep it away from the freezing temperatures). Cover it up (preferably with a couple layers, 1 layer being waterproof) and let her sleep. Before you know it the remaining 2 or 3 months of "not-so-good" weather are up and your ready to hit the road again. Better off the road now than driven in the salt!

I got a friend conned out of the end of their driveway for the rest of the winter, tho the car will stay at the dealership until seatbelt recall is done, after tranny rebuild. Wolf Evol 3 cover is 3 layer and battery will go into basement ASAP
Thanks, at least it is staying cold this winter so things will not get too wet!

Make sure you don't set the batery directly on the ground , i.e concrete floor, it will drain the battery. Set it on a piece of wood.
