i got good reviews in a magazine i was reading so i went out and bought one ............... i returned it 2 days later. It sucked it said i had 800 ft/lbs. of torque and that i ran a 17 second quarter mile then i tried again and it said i had like 50 hp and ran a 13 second quarter mile. I even caliburated it multible times to make sure it wasnt me making it messup. The thing sucked. Just my experience with it lol

Mine is very consistent. I'ts great for trying new mods, adjusting fuel pressure, etc and seeing the difference. The baseline you establish with the gtech is probably worth a whole lot more than the numbers themselves to compare against others...
I got the original one off ebay for 85 bucks US.

Mine has been good so far, taken it for just a couple runs, but seems to be about right. I've also read many posts on the forum about it working well, and matching track times within + or - 0.2 or 0.3 seconds (I think that was it). I got mine for $70 off of eBay - much better than buying a new one.

I would buy one to evaluate handling but not just for 1/4mi times and speeds. Unless the closest track to you was 2+hrs away

RegaPlanet:
That is my situation exactly. The nearest 1/4 mile track is too far for me. (2 to 2.5 hours.)
