I need a wiper transmission for my car. I have the wiper motor but for some reason the wiper transmission was removed from the car. If anyone local can help me out i'd really appreciate it as there are not many of these cars in the scrap yards around here. Thanks a lot

What year? Some(if not all) thirdgen wipers interchange with other GM cars

Where you located? I have an 84 Firebird SE parts car sitting in pieces in my yard... never tested the wipers before I tore the car apart tho, so not a clue if it works

 

i'm in hamilton... how much do you want for the part?

 

Cool, Hamilton's not too far away... I have no idea what the part's worth... and I'd have to get a chance to take it out of my car... work keeps me pretty busy, but I have Friday off this week... I could take a look at it then... any idea what all's involved taking it out?

 

its just a few bolts. Its just the linkage type thing that connects the wiper motor to the arm. Hopefully that'll explain it good enuff. It doesn't matter if your wipers worked or not its just the linkage part i need. Thanks a lot for checking it out for me.

 

Hopefully I can take a look at it Friday, and if I can get it out I'll let ya know... PM me with what you think would be a fair price for it.. I'm going to be in Hamilton Sunday... maybe we could meet somewhere Sunday...

 

Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to get to this for ya... on Friday, I didn't get a chance to work on my other car either (I just got an 89 GTA that needs new brake lines and rear brakes)... my dad made me a deal - help him clean out the garage, and I can use the garage as long as it takes me to do the brake work... so all Friday I was moving heavy crap cleanin the garage out. Sorry....
