Hello everyone!

I was just woundering if it was rude to knock on someones door to aks about a car. I live in Welsley and there is a 3rd gen z28 that is sitting in the driveway of someones house and its never driven. Its always in the driveway and in the same spot. I another reason that I can tell no one drives it or no one really cares about the damn thing is because the tires are starting to go flat.

So if you guys have any ideas on what i should do because i need another car i dont get along with my camaro because its a v6 and its not what im lookin for .

they'd be like... "what the ****!!!" and i'd be like "dude, i wanna buy your car"

I haven't done it myself but since I've been living at this house for the last 8 years, at least 6 or 7 people have stopped to ask me if I want to sell anything or just to shoot the breeze. I don't mind one bit.

 

A couple of weeks ago I saw a '92 Z28 parked outside the local Pep Boys a couple of times, so finally I stopped and asked who owned it. They said, 'Yea, it is so-and-so's, and no, he won't sell it.' I went and talked to him and he said several people had stopped and asked to buy it. Oh, well, it is always worth a try because it may not be worth much to someone who is not into thirdgens like most of us on this board are.

 

Well I will go on sunday so i will let you guys no what he said.

 

Have what you want to pay for it in mind though. Then if he says no you can say not even for $xxxx. Just let him no your not looking for somethign for nothing

 

I've had lots of people stop me and ask me if it's for sale.. Never really annoys me..
