Has anybody on here ever ordered anything from fasttoys. net ? If so, what was the shipping time and cost like?

Paul, alot of the TFBM guys deal with Fastoys and are very pleased with the service and end price. I'm not sure about shipping costs though.

Re: Fasttoys.net

Ok, that's good to know. I wonder if they keep stock or just order from source when you pay them.

This is from another site - the guy lives here in Ontario and probably won't mind me lifting his quote:

"For what it's worth, Fast Toys will still dink you on import fees for items they have to bring across the border, so you don't save much by ordering from them. I had ordered some O2 extensions from them and the price came out to more than it would have been if I just ordered directly from Thunder Racing in Texas."

I remember that they used to have some blurb about not having to pay brokerage fees or high part costs. I want 2 Spohn items and a MAC part. If they just order form Spohn and MAC after i've placed my order then i'll just get the stuff from somewhere else.

I also think the prices are the same as ordering from the US direct. Look for group purchases here and form camaroz28.com as well there is uaually someone with a deal going from the US.

It's been a few years since I've orderd anything from Phill at fasttoys but when I did, the prices were cheaper than anything I could have got from the US. I checked and tried, I am a miser that way. Perhaps things have changed.

I suppose he would be cheaper than ordering from the states and having it delivered in Canada. I have parts sent to my aunt's place (NY) or sister's place (NH) and then go and pick the stuff up. I pay the 15% at the border and i'm done. He qouted me one part at $152.00 + shipping Canadian. I can get the same part for $89 American with free shipping. That would amount to a savings of roughly $40.

Another trick if you don't have someone to accept them south of the border is to rent a mailbox at a place like Mailboxes Ect. Go there and pick up your part. If it isn't too hard to deal with insall it there and drive home. No tax or brokerage. I've had F-body folks in Detroit offer to take delivery of a part several times. One guy brought stuff over the border for me and delivered it in St. Thomas during a drag day. Can't ask for no better than that.

I did that with the PCM I bought for my truck. Drove over and installed it at my aunt's place and then drove home. I usually declare everything I get though. I don't like messing with the customs people. My aunt's house is only about a 50 minute drive. She normally makes me lunch when I go so it turns out quite well

All prices are on the website are in US dollars. They have warehouse space in North Dakota
(U.S.A) and Winnipeg (Canada).

I paid $330 canadian on freight shipping alone for my hood from south carolina, so it would probably be cheaper in the end just because of shipping bs to Canada.
