With all the time I spend at work or with other hobbies, I just haven't had the time to work on the car... a buddy of mine was gonna help do the body work too but he moved and no longer has a good garage so I don't have a decent place to work on it either. If I can sell it maybe I can put the money back into another finished car or something...

I tried to start the car the other day to move it around the driveway and it wouldn't start (battery was almost completely dead) so I tried jump starting it and it wouldn't start. It cranked but wouldn't fire (gas problems?!). Figures, I decide to sell it off and something goes wrong with it. I'm looking for info on 3rd gens that don't wanna start but there's a lot of info to read through.... so I'm off to do some reading... but if anyone is looking for an 89 GTA 305, 5 speed let me know.

$50? come on its got a 1/2 tank of gas.... thats gotta be worth almost $50 to start with! LOL

 

Anyone got an approx. idea what this car would be worth from what I've described? I know its hard to guess without seeing the car, but just a ballpark $ ???

 

What kind of shape is the body in?

 

Well she's not rust free but still fairly solid. I had to repair 2 or 3 holes in the rockers for safety, and a small hole in one strut tower about the size of a quarter. Bit of rust around the rear quarters and a little starting under the ground effects.... all stuff that could be fixed with some body work. The door edges are in decent shape too. I don't have any recent pics of the car, and it will be a couple weeks til I could get any cause I'm going on holidays and leaving shortly!

I got the car cause it needed some work, but not so much that it couldn't be made pretty again.

 

I might be innerested in the 5 speed parts.
