GM Powertrain St. Catharines Show & Shine (Sticky Please)

Good Morning!
The date for the GM Powertrain Show & Shine Event is Friday August 10th., 2007. Last year we had 350 vehicles registered. The S & S is open to all GM powered vehicles and those registering a vehicle are given two tickets for a Plant Tour. There is also a special limited tour of the Dyno Lab. We have vendors and a BBQ available and proceeds are given to charity. There is no charge for registration and it is a one day event, rain or shine. I will send more info as it becomes available. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me. Please mark this date on your calendar and hopefully your club will be able to attend! Registration is done through me and I need name, address, phone and postal code as well as year make and model of vehicle that is being registered! There will be a club participation award. Come and see where the LS2, LS3, LS4 and the LS? are made!
Spend the weekend here in the Niagara Peninsula and get a taste of wine country and if you wish, a little bit of the Casino Niagara

Regards,
Tom Laing

Car: A Camaro of some sort.
That's the same weekend as the 40th Anniversary F-Body bash at the GM Tech centre. Maybe do this one and leave in the evening for Detroit so that we will be at that show for the Saturday morning.

Sorry guys! They came up with the date when I was off work for the year. I had no say in the matter. I will do the registration but I won't be at the show because I WILL BE IN DETROIT !:

I like the idea of doing the show on the Friday and then heading over to Detroit Sat AM.

There is already another show I want to attend that same day. This always happens! To make things worse... I am supposed to be in a wedding the same day as the Camaro Nats... which also happens to be the same day as the Fleetwood show which I already bought tickets for ($115 each).

The other show called WAMBO (Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing)... its in the town I grew up in. I'm also interested in the Detroit F-Body Homecoming event.... I found out that the WAMBO show is on the Saturday... so maybe I can hit more than one!

Yes, but wouldn't you rather see where the LS1's were built and the LS2, LS3, LS4 and the LS? are built now?

Well, we could have the show on the weekend but there would not be a Plant Tour. It is during the week (Friday) so people can have a long weekend! Also, we cannot guarantee the plant will be running on the weekend for the Plant Tour. So, it is on a Friday. Pretty simple reason eh? Stay the weekend, check out wine country! Go to the Casino!
