Hey there everyone, been along time. I have to apologize for my disappearance. I had a very bad accident two summers back and suffered some mild amnesia. It actually happened the night before the Camaro Nationals 2 years back. So to the OCC and Ron, very sorry about missing the show, as I know I was to judge that weekend. I have gained most everything back now, minus a few things here and there. I was hit head on by a drunk driver and that is about all I really know. But physically I am fine, but the memory is a bit fuzzy. So to all who know me, Hello again, and sorry I've been gone so long. Hope I can remember everyone???

 

I sold you a TPI setup long time ago, name is Steve. I've owned a few 3rdgens since then but at the time I had a junk white '86 TA with a 383 stroker. Now I have an '88 IROC with another stroker. Welcome back.

 

He Steve, I do recall that yes, I came up there with a guy named Dave I think??? How's it going? That car you have in your sig looks sweet!!! I still have my Monte, but I have done nothing with it since the accident, but this year I hope to get back at her.

 

Oh yeah, I will be needing to find another TPI intake too. I have a 94 Lt1 Intake complete with rails, injectors and TB that I was going to modify to fit the old block, but I really like the look of the TPI so I am willing to trade or buy which ever, so if you know of anyone getting rid of a TPI intake that is not on drugs and want way more then it's worth, hit me up!!!

I was wondering what happened to you !!!! I asked Bill but he did not know either. I thought aliens abducted you or something. I am glad to hear you are "back" and recovering nicely. Very sorry to hear about the accident, certainly preventable given the circumstances. I trust you will retrurn to 100% some day...or close to it.

No problem about the Nationals, we missed you but the show did not stop. This year's show is June 13 + 14 so please mark your calendar as we'll need you back judging. PM me your address as I have something to mail you.

Hey there Ron, glad the show went on. Not like it wouldn't of course, just sorry I wasn't there the past 2 years. PM has been sent, and thanks for your good wishes. I am about 99.9% back to normal LOL! And ready to be me again! My family choose not to tell of my situation, not 100% sure why, but that is what they thought was right I guess.

Thanks George. I guess I will call it more selective memory. I would forget things all the time, and would get really angry at my family when they would correct me, or remind me. I think that is why they did not tell many, so as to keep me from facing too many things I had forgotten. Big things in my life are all there 100%, medium happenings are 90%, smaller things are well.... You know.

 

Coping with losing your memory is really frustrating and it can be a long road back. Sounds like you're going to be OK though. It's good that you had family to help you through it. And you know what they say, don't sweat the small stuff..lol
