ATTN: Deep Red Durham College GTA...

lol, I KNEW I'd cut last class for a reason...just as I'd rounded the corner near the front lot/sidewalk area, I heard ya fire the beast up...and you'd JUST pulled out to leave. I thought about flagging you down, but figured I'd look like a lunatic, so I instead sprinted to my car, flew outta the lot and caught up to ya...that's a f***in' sweet ride - my poor dirty, rust-spotted (for now) bird was humbled to cruise alongside such a bitchin' car. Woulda loved to have caught up w/ ya in the lot, seen under the hood...lol...and I'm pretty glad I didn't have to line up with you at the lights near Performance Improvements, either, because the car looks alot better from the side then from the back! Anyways, glad to meet another ThirdGen.org member, eben if it was only for a minute or so yelling back and forth across cars!:lala:

Yeah I thought it was your car parked next to mine. Your's is probably the best looking V6 Firebird I've ever seen, I don't see many around anymore in that condition.

Yeah I didn't know that was you walking to your car, I would've stopped.

My car needs a wash BAD! I have been thinking about a RamAir II hood when my income tax comes in, what does everyone think?

Have you seen my buddies 84 TransAm at Durham? It's black with gold ground effects and is much louder than mine, probably the best sounding 305 I've ever heard.

Anyways, I'll have to catch up with you sometime. My girlfriend is in your class, Erin Collier.

Yeah, I've tried to catch up with him as well, but I don't see that car nearly as much...there's that, your car, a red V6, and mine that I've seen on campus......hey, how do you find navigating the speedbumps is like with that kinda lowering your car has? You forced to go sideways over them, or what...? And on a seperate note, have you seen the new Accord at school with the GFX and the HUGE aluminum spoiler....? lol.....

**edit**

And I'd for sure go with the new hood, though what you're runnin' now looks great, too.

IMHO:
No way, don't do it. Purge the thought. You'll never match the paint to your satisfaction furthermore your GTA looks outstanding just like it is.

The stock hoodline is one of the things that makes the car what it is. And if you are looking for cold air it can be done without spending money on the hood.

I have no idea what springs are in there, the previous owner put them in. The car handles like no other car I have ever been in, it's like it's riding on rails, but it rides VERY rough, I'm thinking of replacing the shocks (needs replacing anyways) with softer shocks such as Monroe Sensatrak. I drive the car everyday so comfort does play a role.
