I just got my registration pack in the mail today and I am car #24. One of my buddies is #25 . Now is this now normal to have so little cars to pre-register ? I guess this just seemed kind of low but this is my first year acctually being able to make it so I am not even sure what to expect. Just thought I'd ask .

Yes, that is about normal. Usually about half or a little less than half of the cars pre-register. We currently have 30 cars registered so we are expecting a turnout of about 60 to 75 cars this year.

I believe the most we ever had was 74. Spread the word...let's set a new record!!!

 

I have #26 & 27. I think I got to Denny's a half hour after #25 last weekend. but I am bringing TWO thirdgens so I am doing my part. and I have never missed a thirdgenfest...number 9 in a row I believe...lol. gotta keep the faith.

I would say this is normal and depending on the weather forcast will determine how many show. The die-hards will be there reguardless. It's the newbies that don't pre register that get scared.

 

I have been trying for YEARS to make it but seem to be cursed. One the year the old 'formy expired, another, the 'vert died ON THE WAY THERE! My aunt had a stroke the week before another year and now this year my wife just came home from the hospital today after having her hip replaced, so it's looking grim again. Someday, I WILL make it to meet all you good folks.

i know a certain blue thirdgen that will be there like always. Been to every one since the beginning, no reason to stop now

 

The weather is going to co operate. 80 plus degrees all next week and the weekend. Wash and shine away.

 

I still have a shortblock sitting on my engine stand and bare heads to assemble, etc etc. Going to be a busy week for me to get it done in time. Guess I can't complain that work has been busy and getting a lot more hours lately since I don't mind the paycheck.

 

I am spreading the word to just about everyone . Might bring a 88 bird that a buddy is picking up the day before the show . Nothing to write home about , just neglected rusted stock bird that needs a good home and a nice restoration . Fixing all the loose ends on my Iroc and am counting the days .

 

Be seein you all at Thirdgenfest, my plans for G14 in Atlanta GA fell through. $$$ issues, spent too much on parts for the car so I can't afford to go, lol.

But I'll be there.

 

I have dragged my butt because selective nature of my car wanting to coroperate with me. I will be there though.

 

my car has a serious adversion to gettin to thirdgenfest =/ ive had it for two years and its just gone from street legal but smoking to illegal but not smoking =/ give me another four years ill make it sooner or later
