Wells MAF - Help

I've seen some good pricing here on the Wells SU-145 MAF for mid '80s TPI.

Since Wells doesn't sell direct I need a mail-order house with good pricing...please.

Thanks.

Daigs, Autozone.com says Autozone doesn't even carry them, they are not available. So when did you buy yours from Autozone?

Same here on availability.

Local AutoZone, in Nanuet, NY, doesn't have Wells or Bosch; they do have another brand for $150.

My Wells came a few days ago. I think I'll leave the front screen in till I get some time slips.

If you remove that screen, you may as well throw it away. Doesnt work like a Bosch MAF. Leave the screen alone.

Thanks for the tip.

If it doesn't flow high enough, I can swap with the gutted Bosch from the IROC.

Its supposed to flow ~750cfm, which is on par with a gutted Bosch unit.

Doesnt matter a whole lot though, it (and the ecm) will still only read the same as a Bosch, around 440cfm.

Is that what 255gm/sec computes to?

I had heard that the Wells was a "hi-flow" unit but didn't know the number, thanks.
