Holley Stealth Ram

This has got to be the worst question you can ask on this section of the thirdgen site. Please use the search button at the top of the page for all the info you ever wanted to know about this intake.

trans am fitment

you have to "massage" the front part of the underside hood support framing to make the stealth ram fit in a TA. It is a real close fit but it will will a little custom engineering(beating with hammer)

Now answer this!! Will it fit with energy suspension motor mounts. Looks like my motor sits up about another inch. I currently have the LT1 intake but I am thinking of throwing it in the trash, nothing but coolant leaks and the damn thing started on fire tonight!!!

If thats true that the poly mounts bring the engine up another inch, then it will probably not clear the hood. Do a search on my username, I've posted multiple muliple times about this. As soon as I get my fu*cking fuel rails I'll install the damn thing for good and do a little write-up/picture session for you all. For now just hang tight. If you want one you might as well order it now and get on the waiting list. You're probably looking at 1-2 months wait time now. I hope to have mine installed within a month.

and SEARCH DAMNIT! I dont konw what the problem is with stealth ram info but the same damn questions pop up every other day.

Is it worth the money??? YES! The price theyre selling this for is incredible. Thirdgenners are the cheapest bunch out there but this should be affordable to almost all of us. It's half the price of the super ram and less then half the price of the miniram.

Your LT1 intake, you machined it yourself?

I can help you with the coolant leaks if you'd like but the intake didn't cause the fire, the fuel and yourself did.

Yeah, Yeah I know. THe fuel rail was leaking from the front crossover on the driver side. The fire was minor and didn't even do any damage. I am just fustrated at this car cause I have eliminated the 9th fuel injector and I now need my chip reprogrammed (took me awhile to figure that one out). I currently have the proramming hardware on order and should be here tues, (hopefully). The intake looks awsome and I have spent too much money and worked too hard to just throw it all away. I hope to fire it up on tues, get my exhaust work done, and be tuning it by this weekend. By the way im working on my GTA.
