from what i have heard that those SVO injectors are rated at a lower fuel pressure than gm's. you "could" use them but without PROM tuning you would run horribly rich. i myself am going for some 21lb inectors for my iroc. I am going to get some "takeouts" instead of getting mine cleaned etc..
D9B-21lb - RES: 11-18ohm Set Price: $164/8

You can run them, and with an AFPR you may be able to get away with it. But to do it right you should change your chip. Why do you want to change? The stock 22#s should be fine for the stock engine. I am currently using to svo 24#s with the stock chip and it runs pretty good, but I also have pleanty of mods.
Here in canada injecters are around $120. each times by 8 and you do the math. Its alot of $. Ive been told that the svo's are about $350. for the set. If there is some where else that you know of that has injecters for less, could you please let me know.
ps. I actually pulled the top of the motor off the other day and found out all the lower runner bolts were completely loose so I resealed everything including the intake manifold and also charged my fuel rail and checked for any leaky injecters. Low and behold 7 out of 8 leaked. Now I have to find some new injecters.

the price i listed is for a set of 8. i did list the place where you can get them. click on "Injector Sets" on first post. the 21 will be just fine for a stock 350 engine. the 24 are also ok but for a 350 w/goodies. just like bitchin said.

I had them on my GTA a while back... No AFPR, no custom chip, and she ran fine. A little rich, but still ran damn strong. The SVO's are rated at 39.6 PSI I believe, so 38-40 pounds of fuel would be fine. Keep in mind that I was running them with the stock FPR, at about 46, and had no problems. You will, however, get the best results with a custom prom.

I have the #24 SVO's in my ZZ4TPI combo. Ditto on the 38/40psi. Any more and I start to run rich. I went the SVO route for price also, probably the best deal on injectors going. I got mine from Summit.

Nope, but I think I answered your question in the email. However, I'm sure I would benefit greatly from prom burning. Just gotta get off my duff and get the gear.
