Just wondering who all has a LPE SR and wants to swap to a HSR
because of the flow difference? Im sure this will get locked cuz Its non TECH so mmmmm lets make it TECH

Why do you want to swap? Just for more Flow in the upper RPM's

Why not just siameese port your base 3inches in like Mike D. did and pull to 6k.

I have a HSR in hand and dont like the Huge Boxy design of the plenum now and want to get rid of it for a LPE SR.

Im gona siameese port a tpis bigmouth base I have like Mike D did and be done with it.

Guess I should have doen that to begin with. The HSR is nice but I want good FLOW and GOOD LOOKS.

Well my tpis base, welded,ported and extrudhoned to match felpro 1206's flows fine. the LTR's is whats holding it back over 5600.

HSR, would def. FLOW good, but So will My base siameesed 3inches in. and a SuperRam. Like I said befor havent been in the street racin seen for awhile. SInce I lived in FLA. and the closest track here is 2hrs away. So Im doing the Show and Go thing now.

Gona find a SR and have it chrome plated. The Carbonfiber was is nice but has some flaws in it. and getting a good seal is gona take some work now.. So thats on the back burner.

I'd like to see some pictures of what your current intake and runners look like. Especially interested in the welded areas. In a prior post you said your base was already siamesed,, so you're going to siamese it more - right?

 

does LTR mean long tube runners?
im sure i know what it is but i dont what the abbreviation means
if thats what holding u to 5600 why not siamese them to?

Ive never said it was siameesed. Ive talked about wanting to do it like mike davis has done. Mike and I have even talked about me shipping my base to him to do. Either for $100 bucks or in exchange for some stuff.

When I do pull the motor apart(weither its to keep the HSR and use it. or put a SR runners and plenum on) Id glady give tpi-roc pic's since I use to always bs with him on msn, but just to prove myself to you I dont think so. Why give you the gratification

Now,, are you going to "gradly prove yourself to me" since I've given you proof - like you said in the first paragraph,, or is it you "wont give me pics because you don't care"? Pick your story and stick to it and you won't give me an opportunity to "be an a$$".
