LS1 ZO6 Injectors

My Holley 950 base map calls for 30lb injectors
Could I get away with using 28lb stock ZO6 injectors?
How can I verify that they are actually 28lb injectors?
What is ther fuel pres regulated at?
Can these replace stock Type TPI injectors.
If they are so great why are there so many set on E Bay?
My motors making 450 HP

LS1 injectors are way different. They won't fit.

Geometrically, they're the same size as LT1 and SVO injectors...both of which swap into a TPI fuel rail no problemo.

The problem is the lack of a complete groove up top for the fuel rail clip to engage. If you run LS1 injectors, you'll have to either cut the rest of the groove into them or delete the clip.

I'm running Z06 injectors on my Stealth Ram which doesn't use clips. Here's a pic of an SVO injector next to a Z06 injector for comparison:

What the base map calls for dosen't matter after you tune it. The tuning will make up the difference by increasing the pulsewide. I run Delco 22#ers with a 950.

They're rated at 28.x (can't recall off hand) at 4-bar, which calculates to 24.x at 3-bar assuming linear flow rate. I'm running mine at 46psi with the injector constant set to 26.2#.

If you're shopping and want the 28.x rate, be sure to get Z06 injectors, not regular LS1 pieces. Regular LS1 pieces, except for '98 ones, are 26.x at 4-bar which calcs to 22.x at 3-bar. And stay clear of truck injectors, totally different electrical connector.

I got mine from the classifieds at ls1tech.com but they're on EBay frequently. The regular sellers post part#s so dig around there and you'll find info.

Thankya...thankya verra much...

Just pains me seeing us poor GM owners having to use Ford injectors. Now there's an option.
