Runner Q: please help!!!!

Last time i ask and i hope i´ll get my answears!!!
I have a almost stock GTA 350 -90 that has k&n air filter +catback.
I´m intending to buy headers and porting the plenum + afpr.
This is all i'm gonne do on the engine, exept and here is my question!!! is it worth buying runners for my setup cause i can buy a set of as&m a little cheaper or should i save the 400$,
i´m not gonne buy any base or cam or heads in the future.

THANKS !!!!!!!:hail:

The intake base would be a lot more useful than runners. As would a cam swap.

If you're going to spend around 400 bucks, I would suggest buying a base instead of the runners. You can get a decent Edelbrock one for cheaper than that, and I think it would help you much more. The stock base is much more restrictive than the stock runners. Hope this helps.

So what you are saying is that the runners will do nothing to increase my performance at all with my setup. ok thax for saving 400dollar. it´s too much work too swap a base.

Huh? You have NO place to do a quick manifold swap? Bummer.

In all seriousness, on abasically stock set up, runners are worth 2 tenths at best. The base is the worst part of the stock TPI intake for sure.
