Stealth Ram problems

Since the new intake sits back further, the intake w/ the maf on it is too short, I cannot tighten down the end on the throttle body and tighten the bolts where the filters are or else the TB end falls off , i need about 1/2 more space so they can both connect. Any one else have this problem?
How did u fix it?

Stack some gaskets or if you're made of money get one of those TB spacers.

Otherwise, you're going to have to fab up your intake tract.

There's no true "vacuum" in front of the throttle body. That only exists behind the throttle body. For everything in front of the TB, you're just concerned with metering every bit of air that goes through the MAF, and that all the air entering the engine has passed through a filter.

As far as the spacer, do a search for Helix or Power Tower or something to that effect. It's like a hundred bucks though, so you'd probably be better off just getting some ducting of your own.

I tried stretching mine too but I need like a half inch, so it will not stretch enough, I was gonna try heating it up(hot water) and see if that would help. If not Im gonna call Holley monday and get some answers.

99.9% of the time this is correct, providing there is no restrictions. Here is a link to a guy that has a Superramed 408 and was sucking his air intake flat:
