I finally dyno'd my car today. I was expecting more but oh well.

Mods: Borla, 3:73s, and K&N.

Yea.. car needs a heavy wash.




First pass was 204.3 HP and 269.2 TQ.

Second pass was 205.8 and 270.0 TQ.

Third pass was 209.5 HP and 270.8 TQ.

awesome looking car.... i think its time for some more motor for that bad boy though. Here is my 86 z28 looks kinda like yours, it is a wanna be 92 lol it has a 406 in it with a 5 speed. i hope to get to a dyno sometime soon, how much did it cost you to run it?

holy crap muncher! how is it that these 305's make better power then i did. of course i made better tq but still. i will find out in a week or so if it was my smashed exhaust but i have a feeling it will free up some ponies. 209hp you got me by 2 full hp and your curve is allot smoother then mine. i went flat as a pancake about 4k on.

oh i only paid $50 for the last run and $50 for this up coming run. 2 pulls total for each run with adjustments if i want to make any.

dang i was forgetting auto vs 5 spd. duh. but 228hp whatha!:hail:

 

It costed me 75 for the dyno run. Kinda pricey. I should have my new motor in by May/June. 4 valve heads...hahaa

Thanks. You have one nice *** car. How'd you get your car to 228 HP? What mods do you have? When I dyno'd they didnt put a fan in front of my car.

 

that wee little fan just helps keep it a little cooler, thats about it unless you get a huricane fan.

she's quite the quick car for a 305

Now it all makes sense for your HP. I would think you would do better on the quarter mile. With your trap time it seems like you spin your tires alot. I recently ran a white 5.0 that does 14.1 at the track and I took him by a full car. Something aint right here. But then again I have alot of suspension parts that helps me hook up.
