doesn't seem like many people have gone ramjet, because it only bolts on to vortec heads, and fast burns, e-tecs, etc.
But the scoggen dickey intake is selling like nuts, so people are clearly buying vortec heads for thirdgens, etc.
Personally, I'd like to see someone go with the vortec heads and the ramjet, because i'd imagine it's gonna make more horsepower than a long runner setup. And it probably costs close to the same as the SDPC intake manifold + a good set of runners
The ramjet bare intake is $380 - $400.
The rails are $275
and you can find throttle bodies with the sensors on them for around $50 on ebay.
and then there's some little stuff, the biggest being the FPR.
10128305 Splash Shield 6.73
11514149 Bolt 2.00 (4)
12529094* Vortec Intake Gasket 14.75
12550027* Intake Bolt 2.00 (8)
14082470 Vacuum Fitting 2.00
12551240 TB Gasket 2.90
11516425* TB Bolt 2.06
17082049 IAC Seal 4.18
17113168 IAC Bolt/Screw Kit 8.37
11516061 Fuel Rail Bolts .68 (4)
17123897* Fuel Pressure Regulator 53.72
9439930 FPR Bolt .31
12557247 FPR Hose 2.03
12489599 Fuel Line Connector 9.45
12489600 Fuel Line Connector Seal 4.20
25095452 PCV Valve 3.98
12556930 PCV Hose 3.35
336018 PCV Connector 2.67
so figure $850 - $900 for the swap.
The scoggen dickey TPI intake alone costs $400, and you're looking at $300 easy for a set of runners as well.
And that's assuming you'll even stick with the stock throttle body, and not have the plenum ported, which adds up quickly as well.

Now some one understands I have a set of moded vortec heads but I really don't want to use a LTR this time. I've had 4 cars in the past w/modded LTR's I'm really wanting more RPM hence the RAMJET choice.
ive got a ram jet 350 with LT4 Hot Cam, Fast burn aluminum heads, 30lb injectors....havent got to drive the damn thing yet though...have had many problems in the process and havent gotten them all worked out yet. Supposedly the combo is good for 430HP...we will see though. Ill keep you advised.

It's a very good combo, just not very popular because people seem to feel like aftermarket performance products are far superior to "factory" performance parts. Not always the case, but the stygma remains...

so what throttle bodies can be used with the ram jet, I got 3 tpi T/B's, one 52mm, and one lt1 T/B, dont really want to buy another. I would like to be able to use the 52mm tpi T/B?
I would really rather go with this setup than the lt1 intake that i currently have (or have in the mail on the way to my house) because then i can use vortec heads.
once you factor in heads i still think a ramjet and vortecs is more cost effective than an lt1 intake and some more expensive heads.

The Ram Jet intake uses a vortec/LS1 style throttle body...the stock one is 75mm but BBK makes an 80mm version that will work and should flow more than ill probably need for my combo. The throttle linkage is on the passenger side of the motor (unlike TPIs) so you need a longer throttle cable ( i used a cable from a 4cyl thirdgen, longest i could find at the time).... i am running a T56, so i dont need a TV cable, but the provisions are there are on the LS1 TB if needed, you would just have to fab up a bracket on the side of the intake for the extra cable.
