Fuel rail from hell

I spent 2 1/2 hours today driving from part store to part store trying to find new O-Rings for my leaking fuel rail. I went everywhere and no one had them. I went to the dealer they looked and called around for 30 minutes finding nothing. I gave them a part number I found searching the TPI board "17111696" but they insisted it was O-rings for the fuel lines not for the fuel rail. Can anyone help me out this? What is the part number for new O-Rings for the fuel rail?

I went threw the same situation with mine. I ended up go to a dealer and had to buy a complete seal kit. Was around $60 if i remember for every o-ring in the tpi system, they wouldnt sell me just the 2 that i needed.

The dealer couldn't find anything. Not even the $60 complete kit. Does anyone have any part numbers?

Between an o-ring kit I had laying around, and the local aubichon hardware, I came up with everything I needed. I just don't know how long a conventional o-ring will hold up to gas. I guess I'll find out.

In the past I've just taken mine apart and wandered over to any auto parts store and found some o-rings that were the same size. You can't expect them to know what o-rings fit anywhere in your car, except maybe the fuel injector since that's almost universal. Never had anything leak. I even did the same thing for the o-rings inside the fuel lines.

I ordered the kit from GM. When it comes to fuel lines I don't like to get O-ring's that look like the same size. I want the right ones. Also fuel line O-rings are made of a special material so that the fuel doesn't eat away at them.

I just resealed mine about a month ago. Called the Pontiac dealer and they sent over a O-ring kit for just the rail. I already had the injector seals. You can call them at 916-969-1111 Reliable Pontiac Cadillac. As far as O rings go.. Unless your looking for a heat rating situation like can be needed for high temps and pressure like in a 134a a/c system then a specific O ring is recommended. A perfect fit for sealing a fuel system is need here because the rail has odd ball size o rings however standard O rings are what is used material wise to seal fuel systems.

The "Complete TPI Gasket Kit" from autozone has them in there. You will need to replace the gaskets anyway, why not just purchase one kit. The kit from az Fel-Pro kit is only $26.

Part #: MS93035-1

Wrong. MS93035-1 contains a complete set of runner gaskets, intake manifold gaskets, 2 throttle body gaskets (one for plenums with triangular IAC passage between the bores, one for plenums without), a distributor gasket, a tube of silicone for the intake manifold front/rear seal, and 8 injector o-rings.

Fuel rail o-rings are not included. The contents are listed right on the box. I used the MS93035-1 when I had the intake manifold off my 91 Formula last summer. It does not contain the o rings needed to overhaul the fuel rail assemblies.

Axle/Gears: Drums?
Ok, I hate to bring an old thread like this back, but I have a problem. I need the felpro kit Part #: MS93035-1 but the online autozone store says it's no longer available. Is there another source for this kit?

I took my fuel rail apart to have it polished and powder coated and just kept the o-rings in a zip lock baggie till I was ready to put it back together....

Is it OK to re-use O-rings? or should I have gotten new ones? the old ones looked fine...
