With that Xtreme cam on a 112LSA, stock 190cc AFRs, 52mm TB, SLP 1-5/8" headers, Vigilante 2800 stall, and the MiniRam I ran 12.2's @ 112mph. The cam is very streetable and produces good power. I am now running a CC306-like cam and it isn't even close to being as streetable as the 218 Xtreme cam. In fact, I just ordered up an electric vacuum pump because the cam only yields about 70kPa at idle ... not enough to really operate the power brakes effectively.

With those heads and intake combo, you need to go at least as big as my cam (XR276HR-12)
Comp Xtreme hyd, roller
.503/.510 lift (with 1.5's)
224/230 duration @ .050
112 LSA
108 ICA
Its a very streetable cam and idles pretty decent.

I have a comp cams xr270hr cam which is hyd. roller .495/502, 218/224 and a LT-4 hot cam for sale. Both are in mint shape. The comp has about 5000 miles on it and the hot cam has about 3000 miles.
Comp price $175.00 (paid 259.99 new)
hot cam $ 125.00 (recieved in a short block I bought)
I am building a new 383 for my '69 and do not need these cams any more.

how much for you to ship that hot cam to chicago? still need to decide if thats the route i want to go for sure, im pretty sure it is, im building a new 350 with AFR 190 heads, roller rockers, and all forged bottom end, and im going to use a superram for up top. the hot cam is hydraulic roller right? and would i be able to run 6-8 psi of boost with a hot cam or do you think i would still need a blower cam? thanks
I would have to find out on shipping.(Need a zip code to look up cost) The Hot cam is a roller and came from Short block I bought used from really good friend and He used it with a super ram and a blower and run low 11's all day. I also have a set of federal mogal (trw) forged blower pistons with floating pins. Seven are in perfect shape but I think one of pistons is bad ( a piece of the oil ring broke and scraped the cylinder wall and put a small mark on the piston). From what I was told A new set of these pistons is $550/set. I am not going ever use them so they are for sale too. $200 for the set w/ the pins. I have not had a engine shop look at the bad piston but I can send a picture of it and you can see there is very little damage and may be reuseable.
my zip code is 60638, find out what it would cost to send those pistons with the cam because im interested in both. by blower pistons do you mean dished? or are they still flat top? and the cam its hydraulic roller right? if you want, email me at xxslayahxx@aol.com
