car is acting up so much, i got pulled over

Oh boy, where do I begin....
Ok.. #1. at idle.. the car shimmies a little.. i dunno.. it goes smooth.. then a little ruff vibration.. then smooth...
#2. today i was driving, and when i am driving arond 40-50, it feels as if something is blocking the exhaust.. but then it will clear up, and then go blocked again. #3. funny fuel smell and large amount of fuel consumtion... i saw a post on this already, i just thought i could add it in to see if any of the posted problems are related... whatever i have in my car is in my sig... i am puttin in msd 8.5 mm wires in today... im gunna check for vacum leaks right now.. please help me fellas thanks

well fellas!!! also, im doing my plug wires now... and it looks like mr. haynes manual isnt agreeing on how the wires are set... they show a different wire set up then what is on the car now... someone please help me

different setup? I just loom my wires together and drape them over the valve covers, making damn sure they don't rub on the exhaust. I never use the factory 'behind the engine' ones. Are your wires pre-made or custom fit?

wires are pre made.. but not on how they fit...haynes manual has a pic of the cylenders and then a pic of the dist. and its showing the numbers corisoponding to each cylinder... and its not how it is on my car... for example.. in haynes it says #2 is across from cycl 1.. but on the cap teh placement of 1 and 2 are different then whats on my car...

clogged Cat? could have chunks in there, that block, and then move and unblock and back and forth.

Could cause fuel smell, and would definetally effect mileage.

ahh i really need help with the wires.. im puttin them back on the way they were, since the car ran at at that point... could the HEI with the coil in cap have a different set up then mine with an external coil?
