Plenum wanted
Plenum wanted
I'm looking for an extra plenum. I don't need runners, or a base, or injectors. If you've upgraded to a superram, stealth ram, miniram, etc and want to get a few bucks for your stock plenum, then let me know.
I currently have LTR, and I got a set of SLP siemese that I'm doing some porting on so I need a plenum to mod for them. I plan to dyno the two setups for comparison.

I guess it makes sense that the 9th injector goes into the plenum. I have a '92 so I'm not that familiar with the extra inj. I assume it's a typical injector like the other 8 that use an o-ring to seal rather than a setup where it screws into the plenum. I'm trying to determine what it would take to block off. Would something along the lines of a dime and some JB weld work? Do you know of any other differences between the two types of setup?
Thanks.

the plenum has the hole in the left side to allow air to go through a tube to the ninth injector. shouldn't matter in your case because the runners do not have the air tube and no ninth injector.
here's the left runner see the little tube? that's for the ninth injector.
see the hole by the runner outlets? that's what you don't have. like i said though, it shouldn't matter.

It looks like you're in central FL. Me too. I was thinking about heading to Speed World soon before the cool weather goes away. I actually need to take my new '02 SS there to see if its quicker than my '92 (13.2's). We could hook up there some Wednesday night if you're interested.

85-88 was 9th injector, 89+ doesn't.
That tube is for the EGR I believe cuz I have it too (along with the hole on the plenum next to the runners on the passenger side). My car is an 89. My runners DO NOT have that hole at the base of that tube though. The hole is for the 9th injector.

the plenum pic is of the right side. can't find a pic of one from the left side. so the hole on the left side is for the injector to get air.
