All you really need to do is drop it in. Obviously, you need to do some prom tuning to allow for displacement changes and the necessary fuel/spark needs to make the power you want. The engine it self should fit without problems. I have a 383 in my 92. The block is an 80 and it went it with no trouble or surprises.

first if you do a search their is alot of info on this topic i have done same type deal already but computer you will need the get a prom chip burned, and fuel pump might be ok i went ahead and put a new one in and it all depends on what size injectiors you have in their now something like 22# should be fine

Your computer is going to work fine, you need to recalibrate your exsisting prom or learn to burn your own. The fuel pump will work, provided it is in good working order and you may want to upgrade your injectors. 22# was stock on 350s, 19# was stock on 305s. Alot of people run 24# injectors, I run 30#. I think some 22#ers will be fine for your goal.
