TBI to TPI swappers please come in!

I just put an L98 into my L03 car. I'm having problems finding out where this plug goes. It's down near the ECM and branches off of the main harness. It's a 6-way connector with 2 pnk/blk and 1 brn/wht on the harness end and on the end that should be on the chassis harness has 2 pnk/blk, 1 grn, 1 blue and 1 brn wire.

I have both sides of the plug b/c it was cut out of a car but he cut it out so that it is still usable. Make sense? Let me know if you need clarification. This is all I need to get the car back on the road. I really need the help

One end of the plug is white ( the harness side) and the other is gray. Basically what I need to know is where do I plug the white part into on the L03 car?

I don't think that it is the IP harness. Theres another one under there that is a 6 pin connector IIRC.. Over the years they used it for a few differnt things. Like injector power and stuff like that.

Nasty_Bird_'90, go to this site:

http://www.diy-efi.org/gmecm/ecm_info/1227730/

And at the bottom of that page are links to the wiring diagrams for your ECM. The '92 f-body, page 2, note the injector feeds. (IP stands for instrument panel).

This should get you going.

RBob.

Yeah Kat, that's the one I'm talking about. I need it for the injector power. The pink/black wires. Any Idea that corresponding plug would look like on a '90?

Sorry about no pics, Bort, but I don't have a digital camera

The injector power wires are on the gray 6 pin connector the branches near the clear IP connector. In later cars, the injector power wires were moved to the IP connector and the 6 pin connector was eliminated. (There's also a fuel pump power wire and coolant fan power wire on that connector IIRC?)

I'd bet the L98 in question is an '87 or '88. Am I right?

Yep, you're right. It's an '86 L98 in a '90. So there are two injector wires, a coolant fan power wire and a fuel pump power wire? Which color wire is which? Thanx for the help!
