Probally is, dont seem like it has the fuel rails, and those are over 100 I think. So once you get down to it, with S&H and the price probally going higher you are going to pay more.

Whats so funny is he will probably get that and more. Ive seen used stuff on there sale way over new prices. If its a thirdgen bud like me, i will send them an email just for the hell of it.

You have to be really careful what you buy on there. Every used part on there is in great condition. Then you get a good look at the picture and its junk.

Its all about making a buck.....

what are you guys, the price-protection police? The guy has the right to charge anything he wants. If somebody is willing to pay his asking price, so be it.

I agree....IM not saying thats what this guy is doing because i dont know all the facts. But too say its okay to screw someone over is wrong. I would never do a friend or a stranger that way.

But thats just me...I bet if you guys were the ones getting bent over. And figured it out afterwards. you would be the ones crying the loudest.

I got an e-mail from the seller and he says he paid $500 for it. Well is all possible. I still dont think its worth paying more than what it sells for. I dont feel sorry for him at all since I have bought many items and ended up selling the parts for the fraction of what I paid even though the part was barely used or new. Thats the life of resale value of auto parts. I have a holley 600 cfm carb that I have dumped close to $300 into and at the recent swap meet couldnt even get $75 for. I only ran the carb no more than 10 runs to. Best offer i got was $50. BTW Thunderracing sells the intake for 279.99.

what in the hell is dishonest about it? Does that mean that my grocery store is full of crooks because Wal Mart sells the same stuff for less money? I don't see where anything was mis-represented. I also don't doubt that he paid $500 for it. DEALER COST is higher for most local dealers than Summit can retail the stuff for.

Ever hear of capitalism?

I dont think anyone was stating the seller was dishonest. But to feel to not help others of paying more and calling them price police sometimes infers that you protecting some kind of dishonesty. Whats the big deal in pointing out in something being overpriced and pointing out it sells for a lot less. Just to prevent someone from overpaying for something. Also I have been an ebayer for a long time and I know some signs for bad sellers. Notice how he has only a 2 feedback and the feedback is from something recently he bought just to make his name look better. These are just signs of dishonest sellers. That whole auction just screams run away. If you think its a good deal then bid on it.

"Its just pathetic to protect dishonesty." Sound familiar? Who's dishonesty were you referring to exactly?

Fine whatever you win. The point is to help others from overpaying and find out whats the deal with the auction to see if something was missed. Let it go already. Im looking to buy an intake on ebay and was just shocked that someone would ask so much for this intake and thought I would get some feedback from the guys here.

I sold my stealthram for the same price I paid for it. I think the guy got a terrific deal. I had to wait a month to get it from Thunderracing, while he got it almost instantly.

To some people its probobly worth it to pay the higher ebay price.

If you check, you'll see there are "0" bids. Free enterprise.

If your looking for a HSr in the 1st Place you know how much it would cost form Summit, Jegs or anywhere else.

If the buyer is willing to Pay more from ebay to get it NOW and not Waite on back orders thats his prerogative..
