Should this happen?

I got a fuel pressure tester and hooked it up (no one ever mentioned having to remove the MAP!) Anyways, when revving the throttle at the TB, the pressure drops into the 30's. Someone told me this is not a good thing, and that it means that as I'm revving, although the engine wants more fuel its getting less. Is this true or is the situation normal? Thanks.

Pressure should increase, when vacuum is lowered. i/e when throtle is opened...should maintain pressure once vacuum is stablized.

You sure you aren't noticing the drop when letting off the throttle?

Yeah I was doing some research and found that pressure should drop during decel because vacuum raises. I don't know if this is what was happening or not, I won't get a chance to test again for a couple of days.

Just for reference when I get to test again though, but how much should my psi be increasing when I rev up, like a couple of psi or like 5-10 range?

Thanks.

It's possible to see a 10psi swing, I'd guess (never really checked it out tough) from high vacuum to low vacuum.

Mine are definitely not leaky, they're new. Now the heat is on the fuel pump,

Suggest the filter first, if you suspect a flow problem.
